Hi, I am Courtney a recent graduate from Sonoma State University where I studied Communications and Media Studies with a minor in Business Administration. Over my four years I have developed a passion for creativity and being able to work with clients to help their visions and companies grow. Throughout my time at Sonoma I was able to be part of Primitivo, a student run public relations firm where I was able to work with the Children's Museum of Sonoma County. This allowed me to see my passion for public relations which has led me to pursue a career in public relations after graduating. Primitivo has shown me how I can offer my skills to help reach others. On top of Primitivo I took a public relations class specializing in entertainment and sports allowing me to work with the Honeyboys, a band from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Our team was able to help grow their presence on social media and write a press release to help promote their new song.

In addition to Primitivo, I was also elected Vice President of Recruitment for the Delta Rho chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta. Throughout my time in this position I had the opportunity to oversee and execute informal and formal recruitment. This allowed me to plan and lead all trainings as well as coordinate all interior decorations and outfits. I also helped with creating graphics that were posted on Instagram Stories to help promote going Greek as well as AGD. Throughout, my time as VPR it allowed me to create an overall aesthetic that was seen in posts, stories and throughout the weekend.
